Lithuanian Showcase | SIRENOS

Is there anything you'd like to suggest to the organizers of the festival and - specifically - to the organizers of the Lithuanian Showcase?

  1. It could be ever so help - and joyful to meet the invited colleagues IN THE BEGINNING of the festival - a come together to meet and introduce eachother, and it would be good, to have a common place to meet and exchange in between or in the evening- a café for example.
  2. everything very good, just translation sometimes was failed
  3. Go ahead.
  4. It could be nice to have the chance to meet the artists and exchange opinions about the plays in a separate roundtable.
  5. No.
  6. Keep the range of different theatre approaches as wide as possible, to give as colourful picture as possible of the present state.
  7. -
  8. Maybe to pay more attention to the translation as for one performance it wasn't clear enough (although I understand that it was the performer himself that didn't really respect the girl who translated) and in the Feast Fashion it would have been nice to have a translation in the end, as the rest of the performance was in english :)
  9. Keep the mixture of Lithuanian and international performances.
  10. Conserning the previous two questions - It really depends on the selection. More explanation, framing and "microdiplomacy" that helps to understand the context of the production as well as context of lithuanian culture & society would be appreciated. It depends if you want to "show" or also "sell" productions. The strategies may be slightly different and starts from the selection of guest, goes on with the explanations of the context etc.
