Personally, no. I have friends who tend to think, they are proud Rigan and everything else can be called no more then country side, but it's a joke, since we had to know that their parent come from other parts of Latvia - even Latgalia. So we have grown up in different circumstance - me from deep Latgalia and them from Riga - we still are best friends, united in feelings about Latvia, Latvians - that's who we are.

Lagalian people feel negative glances, speech. About Latgalian say that we are poor. In Latgale are the most good-natured and helpful people.
