Humour and sterotypes in print ads
- cause it is
- The tagline is funny
- It's not a funny joke.
- Its very subjective and is just dry humor that insinuates to men that if they buy the car they get the girl too.
- cause its not
- The media is overtly sexualised anyway, can't see it as offensive myself
- A little bit sexist, because women is potrayed as a person with light moral.
- It encourages people to make assumptions about the woman just because she's pretty, which are not necessarily true.
- as it suggests that females have no self respect
- Nothing funny about people sitting at a station
- It made me laugh!
- Because it is saying that if you by the camera it is okay to take slightly prerogative of females
- There are no assumptions made about the woman, the advert is making fun of the men for staring
- Can't read the tagline
- It took me a while to understand it
- Nothing offensive about it
- It's a bit stereotypical, but it's obviously not meant to be taken seriously
- i don't get it
- very clever idea and original too.
- It's not funny
- for the same reasons as the first one
- It suggests that men should want her number just to see her bum
- because i smiled after glancing at it
- it implies that the guy's a LAD
- It made me laugh :)
- there's nothing to be offended by
- The joke is about being drunk and forgetting people's names, it's not a stereotype
