Me and my friends are overly against online dating, because it's very miscommunicative and it is rather scamful enough.
When I’m planning to meet with someone from tinder, I always said to my bestfriend, that I'm going to go meet a guy from tinder.
If you are going on a date with someone new that you have met on an online dating app you have to make sure that your date is happening in an open setting with other people around to reduce the risk of being kidnapped or sexually/physically assaulted
I do not date online and don't recommend to anyone since it is full of creeps.

Well, it wasn't me, it was my friend who tried dating online and he found a girl, who was in midst of her relationship with a guy whom she tried cheating on. Well couple of weeks and friend got into action with her in person. Then it came to her boyfriend, he found out about it and with who. In the end friend called me and asked me if I can help, because he was going after. And I guess the rest is more or less self explanatory
I communicated with the girl online, and when we met she was pregnant. On my first date, he told me how great a dad I would be.
