Birthday celebration traditions in East Asian countries (China, South Korea and Japan) and Lithuania
What birthday traditions do you follow? Regarding food, music, presents, etc.
Food
Just eating good food, drinking champagne and eating cake
I don't have strong traditions when it comes to celebrating birthdays, mostly it just goes like every meeting with friends. Except we have a cake to share, haha :D
Every birthday we celebrate with a cake and there has to be as many candles as how many years a person is that day. That is the only and the most important tradition I do.
The only tradition we have is to buy cake. Even if we are on a vacation my parents will always buy me a cake.
Cake is important! Hand made presents are cute and heart touching.
Happy birthday song and birthday cake.
There aren't many birthday traditions that I follow. The main one is that there should always be cake, but other than that, there are no specific things that are a must when celebrating birthdays.
There's always a cake on the table, some snacks. No traditions.
Like always- presents, food, some fun, maybe dancing.
