Birthday celebration traditions in East Asian countries (China, South Korea and Japan) and Lithuania
What birthday traditions do you follow? Regarding food, music, presents, etc.
I don't follow traditions (I didn't even have cake at my last one), I just want to have a great time.
I follow the tradition to every year have a special dinner with family. Another details aren't traditions.
We haven't any traditions.
Just presents I guess.
I do not follow any traditions, except one - eating birthday cake and the blowing the candles.
Sometimes cake with candles whose number represent the person's age. But not always.
It is not birthday if there are no cake with candles, very old (lithuanian) music and plenty of sandwiches.
No traditions
I also have a cake at my birthday. It doesn't have to be big, but there has to be cake :) and also I want more than anything to have a great time with my friends and family and that's about it.
It is usually the simple evening with my friends: tasty food, films, games.
