Birthday celebration traditions in East Asian countries (China, South Korea and Japan) and Lithuania

Based on what criteria you choose you celebration place? Does it differ from one year to another? Does the place have to have a special meaning to you?

  1. Usually it's at my home, because I don't like going outside. It's the same every year.
  2. It depends on which birthday I celebrate. If that will be my 16 birthday then I will make something bigger for all my friends and relatives.
  3. Well I celebrate most of my birthdays at home, because we have a large house. One time I celebrated at restaurant, but I prefer my house more.

  8. It's mostly home cause it doesn't cost much. and as I don't like to celebrate my birthday, I don't need to make any parties. Sometimes taking one best friend to have a dinner somewhere and that's all.
  9. The main criteria for me usually is comfort. It does not really differ from one year to another. The place usually has a special meaning.
  10. It depends on my feelings but usually I go to a fancy restaurant with my family for dinner.
