Birthday celebration traditions in East Asian countries (China, South Korea and Japan) and Lithuania

Based on what criteria you choose you celebration place? Does it differ from one year to another? Does the place have to have a special meaning to you?

  1. The place where I celebrate my birthday doesn't depend on anything. I belive that the key for good happy birthday doesn't depend on a place you choose to party in, as long as you're comfortable and happy being there that's all that matters :)
  2. I always celebrate at my house, but I want to change the place, for example, go to the nature.
  3. Not really
  4. If I have heard good reviews about specific place, I woould totaly try it out. I usually choose different places because of curiosity.
  5. There's no criteria, actually, I just choose the place me and my friends enjoy visiting/being and it's decided. It differs, since we discover new places throughout the year. I wouldn't call it 'special', but it is definitely important.
  6. I like to celebrate in a place where is not a lot of people, the decor is nice and cozy. The place doesn't really need to have a special meaning to me.
  7. I always celebrate it at home unless I'm out on a vacation. I celebrate it at home because it's the cheapest way to celebrate it.
  8. The place has to be cosy for all of my friends. It doesn't have to be special but each year it's usually different.
  9. The most important criteria is who I am celebrating with. No special place, we kinda try to go where we haven't been yet.
  10. I do not have any specific criteria for a place to celebrate at, but I always try to make sure it is reachable by all the people I invited to come to the celebration. The place usually is the same every year, because everyone knows where the celebration is going to be held and they don't have to make additional arrangemets to be there. The place where I celebrate birthdays has a special meaning for me, because all my friends celebrate their birthdays there. It has become a tradition.
