What are the main non-material things (healthcare, environment, safety, rights, etc.) that you enjoy/dislike here in Lithuania?

  1. Enjoy: Healthcare, environment, prices, good roads etc.. Dislike: People's rudeness, and how racism is so widely acceptable.
  2. not honesty,no justice ,. no halal food, Tv show only bad things no People hate ,,others,, who are nt lithuanians.,specially in provinces.

What type of visa do you have? Is it possible to live a stable life with the visa you have?

  1. I'm a citizen.

Are there institutions that help immigrants from your country? Where can you ask for help?

  1. Yes there are, for example Caritas. I'm currently seeking psychological help from there for free.

What are the opportunities for newcomers?

  1. There are a lot of niches economically and Lithuanian borders are quite open in that regards, for example exportation and importation opportunities.

What was the main reason you moved to Lithuania? And did it meet your expectations?

  1. i dont know.. its Destiny. or government used us..for their plans. ( better ,,others ,,lost lifes..then own ( lt ). this hating..its open .we are nt stupid )

Are racism and Islamophobia significant problems you face in Lithuania? If yes, would you be comfortable sharing some experiences?

  1. Yes they are and the problem is that you do have a right to report the incidents but the police do not take such complaints seriously. So do the teachers at school, coworkers and the employees. For example I get called "babaj" quite often, but am told to not react as it's not an offensive word but simply a word to describe a darker person. But ofcourse, that word is only used with the intentions of mockery and disrespect and is racist.
  2. Firstly ,change own thinkings. help to local peoples.,teach them to be wise ,and less egoism. all bad things come from Tv,internet...

If you are not Christian, are you able to practice your religion safely? What issues do you face?

  1. I'm a Muslim.
  2. just at home. local ppl don't practice realy so ..and rich ppl ,embasies manage for orhers..justice might ..buy .,everything.. .only nice pictures in fb..but reality ..only lies..

There‘s a current refugee crisis and people are very opinionated about it. Do you ever get inappropriate questions and assumptions about the situation?

  1. Yes, anyone darker is immiditaly seen as an illegal and therefore you are not treated nicely, there were even incidents of people spitting my way.
  2. yes..its..government playing for own reasons with..others ppl lifes...why they cant help ?.they left homes ..from Eu government ,,games,,..black oil..money.-its reason..After they don't like..when others come..but why local left LT ? if here whould be fine then nobody don't need go to others countries .

If you know more immigrants, are their experiences different from yours, if yes, could you name the key ones?

  1. Those who do not know lithuanian have less such experiences simply because they do not understand what is being said. But for those who know lithuanian experience that everyday, since lithuanians let their opinions known out loud.
