The Concept of Security Community in Baltic States

Dear Respondent,

I am a student of Air Force Command and Staff course. I am currently working on a research aiming to define if Baltic citizens consider Baltic States as Security Community which is based on common identity and values.

Here below you will find explanation on Security Community:

"Security Community is "Club of democratic states" where large-scale use of violence has become very unlikely or even unthinkable. States believe that disputes must be resolved by processes of peaceful change based on common values and norms. More, believe in common identity plays significant role, as it sets qualities of expressions which creates we-feeling and trust".

Thank you for your answers which will be used for Academic purposes only.

Respectfully,

Rytis Pogozelskis
