Marketing development in game industry

Did gaming influence your personal life? If so, how?

  1. Made me more appreciative of different cultures and races (even species through Sci-Fi games). Gives me an opportunity to relax after work/university. Helped develop my creative thinking. Helped me appreciate science (through sci-fi games) Helps me keep my brain sharp by adding a variety of different activities and task, that demand much more thought process than daily routine of work and university (as surprisingly as that sounds).

  5. Not much, I think. It takes time, which I could use to do some more important things.

  7. Video games encouraged me to study history of different time periods on my own, I started to pay more attention to the details of the real world surrounding me. As well I strongly believe video games help to improve reaction time of a person.

  9. Taip. 10 klasėje turėjau vasarą pataisų, dėl to, kad visus metus žaidžiau Lineage 2. Bėgau iš pamokų ir stengiausi ankščiau grįžti iš treniruotės, kad liktų daugiau laiko žaidimui. Buvau visiškai priklausomas, kartais sėdėdavau prie ekrano po 2 paras. Galų gale supratau, kad man tai kenkia ir neturi jokios prasmės realiam gyvenime. Man pavyko pačiam tai suprasti, deja yra daugybės paauglių, kurie galbūt patys to ir nesupras. Nuo to laiko nežaidžiau jokių komp. žaidimų (išskyrus Mafia II, kurį perėjau vienu prisėdimu :)) ) Manau, kad žaidimai sukelia priklausomybę.
