Do you remember your first lectures? Discribe briefly

  1. Teachers reassured me and explained me how lectures would work during the year and which kind of exam I would have.
  2. Psychology, safety , I.T and Lithuanian language. It was a bit difficult at first because the lecturers English was not very clear and we had to try to get accostomed to It.
  3. yeah it was good . i like that class it was lecther of lithunaia language it was interesting for me 😀😀😀
  4. My first class, it is difficult to understand, but the teacher is very detailed

How long it took you to used to university‘s requirements?

Briefly describe your living conditions in Lithuania

  1. I was living in the student hostel, which was really nice to meet other students and for the mix of cultures. I had a mentor to explain where I could do my groceries, where was the bus... It was really easy to make friends and to adapt myself to Lithuania.
  2. It's comfortable and affordable. Except it's difficult to find a job
  3. sometime good sometime i dont like
  4. The pace of life is slow, the price is cheap, but it is very boring
  5. For me..its cool

Was it difficult to fit in with Alytus residents?

  1. The only problem that I had with Alytus residents was that not evrybody is speaking English, but as I was mainly staying with students who are learning it at school, its wasn't a problem
  2. Yes it was difficult to fit in because they don't speak English. You have to either speak Russian or Lithuanian. And we were only taught Lithuanian language in the first semester only

What was the biggest obstacles you had to over come during your first year studying? (there are several options)

In your opinion, what changes should take place in the college so your studies and living situation would impprove?

  1. Maybe in adding few lectures
  2. Lithuanian students are separated from the foreign students, and because of this . It's difficult to interact , enjoy lectures or feel more at home . I believe everyone should be merged thus creating a more relaxed and interactive atmosphere for learning
  3. i dont know about that but they can make some kind of trips for outing as i think it would be better
  4. More than a few English teaching, more Lithuanian Language class
  5. Bringing local and international student together in the same class and have classes together.

If you had to choose a university in Lithuania, as before, would you choose Alytaus Kolegija University of Applied Siences?
