If you wish, please give any additional information, comments or recommendations that may be useful for MRU degree-seeking students wishing to go abroad, for Mykolas Romeris University, Education Exchanges Support Foundation (local National Agency) or the European Commission in view of improving the Erasmus+ student mobility action.   1. Before going, students definitely have to do thorough research about the SAFETY and accommodation situation in the receiving country.

  7. Join Facebook groups (beware of real estate scams) Book good accommodation Have savings because leaving abroad is expensive Learn local languages because a lot of people don't speak English Take only essentials, you'll find everything you need there

  10. Student Exchange program participation enhances one's cross cultural competence - learn about other ways of doing things,meet new people, see new places, perhaps pick up a new language.
