Dam on Tigris river [EN]

Tigris river is very important to Turkey's economy and as well to the locals who live nearby it. But now government planned on building a dam on the Tigris river which would be a 100 year benefit plan. But this is a controversial question, because this dam would destroy ancient monuments, landscape and villages.
