What does bread mean in your culture? (What does it represent in your country's culture?)

  3. A fundanental food, a must-have on every table!
  4. Bread is always on the table in most of the Italian families, works as a "side" that can accompany many types of food.
  5. Food, blessing.
  6. It means a lot, because till XX century it can be assumed as the main food for lithuanians. Every day a person consumed till 1,5 kg of bread. Now this number is reduced till 150-300 g per day. There ots of times of bread so this means that it is still very important and is consumed.
  7. Sometimes I think it IS my country's culture. Rarely there will be a tradition not involving bread in some step. Even now no one coul imagine a dieat without some kind of bread. Suits everything! :D from sweet to salty.
