It is because urbanisation is taking place at a faster pace and agriculture doesn’t make you a crorepathy in your life time. People are more into having a luxurious life than being in a life that is just substantial.
For me it was greater job opportunity and options.

In my experience, people migrate to urban areas for two main reasons. Primarily, people move to urban locations due to jobs. Rural areas have very few job opportunities, and even nearby towns frequently have limited career choices.
