Birthday celebration traditions in East Asian countries (China, South Korea and Japan) and Lithuania

What aspects/traditions of birthday celebrations do you cherish/enjoy the most? Why? Are you planning to pass those traditions to you children in the future?why?

  7. I don't know. I would like that my children would celebrate more often their birthdays than I do that.
  8. I adore having a birthday cake, making wishes and blowing the candles. It's highly aesthetic and I like the idea of making wishes. I do plan to pass these traditions to my children for the same reasons.
  9. Thank our parents who gave birth to us more than anyone
  10. Receiving comments from friends or family makes me happy the most. It will be naturally passed to next generation because it's one of usual customs we do without any special thinking.
