Birthday celebration traditions in East Asian countries (China, South Korea and Japan) and Lithuania
Do you celebrate your birthday alone or with your relatives/friends? Why?
I don't
I celebrate my birthday with people that are closest to me. One day I celebrate with my family and other relatives and on the other day (probably on weekend) with my friends that I like spending time with on a regular day, because birthday means a celebratio of someone's birth and there's no celebration without the people you care about. You can celebrate your birthday just with one person you really care about, but you'll still know that somebody cares for you and is happy that yoou were born.
With my relatives and friends, because I want to feel special that day, not lonely.
Friends becues i don't like celebrate alone
I used to celebrate with my friends. Now I celebrate only with my family. Just because friends usually want something big and loud and I prefer staying comfortable and chilled out with my family.
With friends, because it's fun, there's no point of celebrating alone, for me, of course.
I celebrate my birthday with my family and a few friends, because on that day I like to spend time with the most special people in my life.
I usually celebrate it with my family. I had a couple of birthdays with my friends. Because my birthday is in summer not a lot of people can come and I don't really care about my birthdays, because I don't like accepting the fact that I'm already 1 year older :D
With my closest friends(2-3). I wouldn't celebrate without them. They insist to celebrate it.
