Birthday celebration traditions in East Asian countries (China, South Korea and Japan) and Lithuania

If you have any relatives near you, maybe you can ask them a few questions about birthday celebrations? Maybe they can share some wisdom and tell me a little about their childhood memories regarding birthday celebrations? I would kindly appreciate that.

  2. They said it used to be not a big celebration just usual day when you would get some simple gifts.
  3. Right know I don't have.
  4. My brother prefers to celebrate his birthdays in a cinema watching the newest movie, or in a restaurant with friends. He used to have birthday parties at home when he was a child.
  5. My grandmonther told me that she never celebrated any birthday as a child. She sad that they celebrated only name-day. My grandfather told me that he remembers his 7th birthday and his father gave him a bottle of alcohol. My mother rimembers her 10th birthday. It was the first birthday she ever celebrated. She invited all of her friends even her mothe didn't let her. All of them brougth food and that's how they feast.
