Birthday celebration traditions in East Asian countries (China, South Korea and Japan) and Lithuania
Do you celebrate your birthday alone or with your relatives/friends? Why?
depends on situation, sometimes alone, sometimes with friends. Last few years it is not so important day for me
If my friends have time on my birthay, I would meet them. If not - I would be alone. it depends in which city I am on my birthday, if I am in my hometown, i would be with my family, no big celebration, more like little dinner together, maybe some cake, or ice cream, because my birthday is on summer.
Usually I am with my family, because I live with my family.
With my family
My mother made chocolate cake for me.
Usually I celebrate with my relatives and friends but it depends on the situation - sometimes I am abroad at the time of my birthday, other times a lot of my family members or friends are unable to make it to my birthday. I don't make a big deal out of it, as I usually never plan and specifically invite people - I just prepare a cake and some snacks in case people come and just go with the flow. I do like to be with people close to me on my birthdays because it makes the day feel special - otherwise it just feels like a regular day.
I often celebrate two times : one with my family and another one with my one and only best friend, cause we like to be alone and have fun just two of us :)
I always celebrate my birthday with my friends, because I can have a lot of fun, adventures and smiles around me.
With my family and... With my friends, because they are my family too.
Friends and family. If you call birthday pie eating a celebrating.
I celebrate it with family and closest relatives because I do not like large celebration.
